The standard article presents the following items: headword (followed by, if applicable, superscript number based on the Tobler-Lommatzsch), grammatical index, number of occurrences; frequency in relation to words in the same category, frequency in relation to same vocabulary; graphic forms, with details of modes, tenses and persons for verbs (clicking on a form, for ex. va of ALER, gives access to the list of all the occurrences in the 5 romances); definitions followed by examples (a maximum of 10 for each meaning) and remarks, if applicable. Users may choose between a short form of the article (structure and definitions) and a longer one (with the examples). The search may focus on an entry (e.g., ALER) or an etymon (e.g., ambulare, which makes it possible to obtain word families); it may also focus on an element in the definitions (such as the noun parole), in the syntagms (such as the preposition par), or in the examples (e.g., parole noun or verb).
For the modern form of the proper names, we follow D. Staines' usage in his translation (The complete romances of Chrétien de Troyes, Bloomington 1990).
